NOT THE BEST OF YEARS

  This year has been pretty good as far as my artwork goes. I was able to to have two displays in my hometown as well as show my work in two craft festivals as well. New people got to see my art and it led to some purchases in spite of the economy.   On the other side of the coin it has been a bad one for my friends. One lost her Mother and another lost his Father. One who is a common friend amongst us lost his home to fire with his dog inside. I found out that two [...]

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

  Last night I delivered my finished commission "Martha's Cat" to my customer at her home and that was the good. It was nice to once again feel the joy from someone who is very satisfied with the artwork they trusted you to do for them. The funny thing was that her two cats including the one I painted came walking up to the painting as it was propped up against her couch like it was another real cat! BACK FROM HIATUS

  It has been a long, long time since my last blog post. I've had personal situations involving my closest friends and a day job that has worn me out. What I did focus on was the art itself like any serious artist would do.
