I hate to be the bearer of bad news but summer just has a few weeks left. I know that can be depressing but we have fall to look forward to at least. The summer was good to me and I hope good to you as well . Not only did I get nice photos for my artwork such as "Bench At Bayne Park", but I got to get out of the studio and just enjoy it a good bit.
As an artist you are always juggling time demands and always trying to find a good balance between whats really important and whats not. I as you know by now I see myself as a "work in progress", much like my artwork itself. It was a good summer and I'm trying to have a great fall. I want to improve my discipline even more and really produce some nice consistent new work on the website on a regular basis.
I think that my annual "fall foliage" photo hike will be at Kinzua Dam based on the fact that my friends who hike trails on a regular basis can't say enough good things about it. I was there as a little boy and only remember tossing bread to the fish which is a tradition that they are, or are about to stop as it's not really the right food for fish I guess. It was one of those things you never forget with all the fish leaping up, over, and on top of each other. You were looking down at all those hundred or so open fish mouths, it was unreal!
Anyway I wanted to share that with you to remind you of the importance of getting out when the weathers nice. It truly is natural therapy in it's purest form!
