My sister Jenny (who does craft work of her own), recently shared with me that she told a local merchant in town about my artwork and that they might be interested in it. This would be a great way to "get the foot in the door" in my local community of Bellevue. I had my first art show last year in the local art center "Matthews" and was grateful to get two new collectors so this is a get chance to shine as a place to see my artwork for sale all year long so I will definitely keep you posted as to how it comes out.
As I mentioned on Monday, I switch my routine around and improved my diet to make myself as "alive" as I can so I can get through my day job and pretty much just go and take care of personnel and art business matters without missing a beat. I'm going to be doing my art full time some day anyway so I might as well get my body, soul, and mind all on the same page to make things as efficient as possible.
Not only do I have that great possiblity of working with a local merchant. It looks like I will being doing a pet portrait for someone I used to work with that moved on to a different company. I'm going to be able to go from finishing one commission and then going right to work on this one which is a dream come true. I want to always be working on not just my own work, but the nice custom one of a kind framed paintings that I do for you!
That it for now, leave me a comment or two if you choose and I'll see you again on Friday, take care!
