Today I have for you my latest framed oil painting "Flowers In A Dream". This like a good number of my paintings, was done without any reference material. I went in knowing that I wanted a floral and little else. I love the "freshness" and wonder of it all. This painting is 24" x 36" and is framed and ready to hang in your home or office. By the end of the week I hope to update the photo with one that shows more of the flowers detail. It started to snow as I was taking my photo and I didn't have time to get closer and take different shots like I normally do so bear with me. At that time I think I'll replace the photo on the left of this post with a photo of the painting in it's frame so you can see that as well. Yes, winter is in full gear here in my Pittsburgh home so I really need to work around the weather when I take my photos. This framed oil painting is available here , enjoy!

  Look for more framed oil paintings to be posted on a regular basis this year. I never knew the time it took to really put together a nice informative website like I feel I did but now I'm past the time consuming stuff. The mural I have been on for about a year and a half now should be done around the end of January as well, so that will allow me to focus more time on new paintings.
 
  Thats all for today, It felt good to write my own post today as I've been featuring articles on art by other writers for the last two months. I have heard from a few people now that say they like it and find it informative, so I plan on keeping it up. It allows me to spend more time on my art and I learn and am exposed to stuff I wouldn't have otherwise.
