I thought that I would use this first post of the month to let you know about some of the things that are happening with my art and website. I have a new commissioned artwork booked that I'll be starting soon. It's going to be a sign for a cabin with a painting of a turkey roosting in some trees with a strip of land and some rocks. It's going to be done on a "slice" from one of the fallen trees on the property so It's something different from my framed oil paintings that I'm used to doing. It's going to be about 24" by 30" and the gentleman said he's going to have it cut 3" thick. He's allowing me to come up with what I feel will work best design wise and I'm looking forward to begin it.

  Speaking of framed oil paintings, I'm currently working on "Floral Fantasy 2" another one of my floral paintings and I'll be wrapping it up and posting it on my website soon. I plan on showing a photo of the painting in it's matching frame as well. "Pittsburgh" my latest commissioned piece of downtown Pittsburgh at night will be posted soon along with a photo of the painting in it's matching frame.
 
  Website wise I couldn't be happier with what is going on. I have a good bit of great art, gift, and home decor links put together on my links page so you will find a lot of great information and resources to help you out. I'm starting to see my site climb up in the search engine rankings, so I'm really excited to keep working hard on it and get the word out about my framed oil paintings and commissioned work.
