It has been awhile since my last blog post so it's great to share some things with you today. I last left you with my deciding on what painting I was going to take to "Art All Night". Well I decided it would be none this year. That weekend was just to tight with having to go over there twice, once to deliver and the next day to get your work if it didn't sell. I'm going to make sure that next April I keep my weekends open so that I can experience this event and really see what it has to offer.
I am happy to report that I will be displayed in "The Muddy Cup" coffee shop in Bellevue in two weeks. I was able to talk again with Renee Tokar the owner, so have a cup of coffee and check it out when you get a chance.
The other thing that looks promising is the Greenstone Churchs "Strawberry Festival/Craft Show" in Avalon. I got wind of this by the collector that lived in the apartment with the party room. She didn't feel that would work out to good for me (having a small showing) but she did call me back days later with this. If all goes well I'll have paintings at "The Muddy Cup" and my table for this event in June so my work will be on display at two places at the same time!
As far as the art itself I'm working on my pet portrait and a portrait of Penguin goalie Marc Andre Fleuly. I was going to do Sidney Crosby but I have two people interested in Marc Andre Fleuly so I decided to go that way and leave it at their mercy.
That's all for now, Take care as always and have a great day!
